Nothing Earth shattering here considering the amount of awesome Avengers related stuff we have had recently, but still a cool new pic of (cartoony) Cap roaring into battle..

CAN ANYONE ANSWER ME THIS QUESTION: By looking at these cool promo art of Cap, not once have i seen in the trailers of him wearing the cowl in which his ears are exposed.

The Superbowl Trailer has all the heroes together and with Cap wearing the ear-covered helmet

Will he be wearing the ear-exposed cowl or will it be just the helmet in the movie?????

I think the ear coverings are removable. When in battle they cover a weakness in his cowl

"Shoot him in the head!"

"But he's got a helmet on?..."

"Shot him in the ear then!"

Hulk2008 I typed up an editorial on this matter months ago, for I share the same concern.. The answer to your question is: NO REALLY ONE KNOWS. I was really hoping for an ears out Cap like most. One can only hope there will be two versions of the cowl featured in the film.

Then again, situations like that can also take away from the movie when they're making new suits/armor just for the sake of making it.. Like, What would be the reasoning for having two versions of a cowl?? Ya' know? As much as it upsets me.. I think "hard helmet" Cap is all we may see in this film..

Unless he has that kind of cowl in the movie at some point they need to stop releasing that design to the public.

I'm pretty sure he has a soft cowl as well. In the trailers when he's talking to Stark, it's hanging off his back. If it were hard, hehe, it would be popping up, hehe.

@Hulk2008 im pretty sure he also will wear the softer material cowl with ears exposed . Why? You ask. Just look at the first trailer you when you see cap walking to his costume that's in the glass box , look at the mask hanging in there that's the one that's softer/ ears out the one we seen in promo art( now that's the glass box we saw at San diego comic-con ,but the one fans saw there they just replaced it with the helmet one) . Also you see cap in the trailer talking to Tony and he has the softer cowl down to his back like a hoodie (u can see there it looks like the one from promo art) ...... I was hoping marvel would of showed us a shot of cap wearing that one......

Hmmm all the other characters in the movie look exactly like there promo art except for cap. I wonder if there's something in the movie that he wears at some point the more resembles the promo art.

@sexfoodcomics yes he will wear that mask like in these promo art images.... I just don't get why he will also wear the helmet ? Why the helmet? (in the first avenger it made sense he was like one of the soldiers wearing helmets) but here in this movie why the helmet? Why not just the cowl mask the whole movie? Does he really need the hard helmet for protection?! Hawkeye is regular and he doesn't need a helmet to protect his head? Yet cap wears the hard helmet? Why!? It looks alright but I know he will have the softer one with ears out it's in the trailer to his back and it's in the glass box when he's walking to get it .... So why did thy bother having made a. Hard helmet too? Doesn't make sense
