The after credits scene from Marvel's The Avengers must have received more fan attention by way of artwork, t-shirts, you name it, than any other post credits scene in movie history - and it didn't even screen after every cut of the film. As the team take Stark's advice and pay a visit to that Shawarma joint, many have wondered what they did with Loki while they ate. Well, artist Anna Rettberg depicts one possibility in these fun pieces..

From what I heard from my coworker whose girlfriend's brother worked on the crew, reason Ruffulo was laughing was because Evans had a full beard during the filming of this scene, so he had to wear a prosthetic. The paste+beard hair didn't mix well so the reason his hand is in his jaw is cuz it kept falling off. So Ruffulo is laughimg and RDJ is keeping his shit. At first I hated that scene, but after hearing that, I could actually appreciate it.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who hates anime. If you say that in Hawaii, it's like a crime.

A lot of anime is the same, sure, BUT there are plenty of exceptions to the rule.

•Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade
•Akira
•Vampire Hunter D/Bloodlust
•Cowboy Bebop/Samurai Champloo
•Crying Freeman
•Ghost in the Shell 1&2
•Grave of the Fireflies
•Dagger of Kamui
•Metropolis
•Memories
•Ninja Scroll

And on and on.

Those movies/series are certainly better than ANYTHING Marvel has put out animation-wise, and Marvel recognized that by employing Madhouse to make their series (granted the writing doesn't match the production on those).

Really? "Anime is stupid"? That's like saying cartoons are stupid. There's all sorts of kinds, genres, stuff for kiddies, stuff for adults, etc.

A friend of mine thought "japanimation" was dumb, then me and another friend got him to watch Code Geass. I think it's awesomeness exploded his brain. He's not like a huge anime fan now or anything, but now he understands and respects why we like it, and he can sit down and watch it sometimes and enjoy it without defaulting to being a dick about it.

Code Geass has to be one of the best anime series in the last 10 years. It was incredible how every episode left you with a cliffhanger. And if you were invested, and you didn't jump out of your chair [and clap in amazement] at how it ended, you have poor poor taste. I'm not sure if the English translation brought the emotion that the Japanese actors did, but damn dude. Damn. Like, something has to be REALLY good to bring tears to my eyes. That show did it. SO wELL WRITTEN!

I agree with some of you guys above. I'm not a huge fan of anime. Almost every character has the SAME exact face lol. And it's not hard to draw either. (I'm an artist.) In my opinion regular comic book art and cartoons are cool because of the variation. And I hate it when they try to combine super heroes with anime. You wouldn't make an anime character drawn in the style of an American comic. That would be silly.

Anyway, I do think the picture above is funny.

@Firg you mean story wise? I mean I can understand that, because the avengers had a fairly simple plot. But regardless, it was not a bad story, and the characters were interesting.

Otherwise, I doubt it.
