I found some of these pretty damn funny I must say. Particularly the new take on that ever so controversial "he's adopted" line from Thor. So now they are brothers AND Cousins? Won't someone please think of the inbred!

We have excerpted some of the subtitles whose translator is still translating other movies with an arrogant attitude and is currently working on Prometheus.

I agree that there are some mistakes in the subtitles of Avengers, but most in this thread are misunderstandings of Chinese actually. For instance, the "eyeliner"(眼线) should be translated to "informer", in fact, though it's still wrong since the origin is an "eyeball" which really means an eyeball not an informer.

BTW, there are lots of serious mistakes in the Chinese official translated subtitles of Men in Black III (and also misusage of the Chinese language).
