Looks Like CONSTANTINE Is Getting Its Second Season!

After many months of worrying by fans, NBC has announced that it will be bringing back it's supernatural drama, Constantine, for a second season this fall. Yes, that includes the entire original cast! Now while NBC will be bringing back the series for a second season, they have also decided on making the second season only 13 episodes long. Apparently the desicion to make it only 13 episodes long was due to the fact the showrunner and writers felt they could tell a "better, tighter story that would allow for better development of the characters and overarching plot of the season". This should be good news for people who aren't fans of filler episodes.

There's also many big things coming to the second season as we will be seeing Jim Corrigan become the Spectre, a storyline set up in the first season, along with being introduced to fan favorite characters such as Zatanna, Deadman, Dr. Fate, and Phatom Stranger! There's also word going around that we might be seeing a character that will be a mixture of CGI and practical effects, so this might either be Swamp Thing or Etrigan The Demon. What about the timeslot? Well there's no word on that yet, but the network is considering moving the show to a different night, Wednesday's is apparently the one being throw around by executives, but nothing is set in stone yet.

So what do you guys think? Relieved that Constantine is getting its second season? Excited to finally see the Spectre after being teased so much? Do you think Wednesday's is a good night for the show? Out of the characters being introduced which are you most excited for? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below about this April Fools day joke!

Supergirl Pilot Rejected by CBS

After a tumultuous production filled with script issues and in-fighting amongst cast members, CBS has decided to cancel the "Supergirl" TV series. The series will not be joining CBS's new shows this fall.
It seems that a trio of costumes and some last-minute shooting and script adjustments weren't enough to save the hopeful super-heroine series. Fan reaction to leaked production photos and the first reveal of Supergirl's costume only served to fuel the fire.

CBS shelved the series today, shutting down the Warner Bros. TV-produced project. Sources inside the network claim that executives weren't impressed with the initial episode and decided against a series based on negative fan reaction on the internet over the last few weeks.

Executive Producer Greg Berlanti said, "It all depends on the script. We were very careful with Arrow and The Flash. These are iconic characters, but it just wasn't working out with Supergirl. You only get one shot before you get bit."

I know this is an April Fools joke. But I'd be okay with it saying with only thirteen episodes per season. This way you really have to make those episodes shine and don't need filler episodes.

Zack Snyder Tweets a Confession: "I AM DEXTER, the Justice League Hater and Pessimist"
by Josh Wilding

It seems that the man who's been posting memes and exaggerated arguments in our comments sections (which galvanized other users to write comments which got me more money) is the Batman v Superman and Justice League director himself, Zack Snyder! Read what he has to say after the jump!

--------------------

I apologize to Nomis especially! He's shown me how passionate my fans out there are! I'm so grateful for wonderful men like him!

Addressing his memes and arguments, Zack Snyder explains, "I just wanted to see the reactions, you know? I thought that fans would be surprised of how I called Ezra Miller and cast him in a flash! And it didn't really bother them. I'm glad people can handle the fact that we have not one, but TWO female characters in our Justice League roster."
