With Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse set to arrive in the United States this weekend, with previews beginning tonight, 20th Century Fox has slowly been rolling out the marketing campaign for their next blockbuster summer release - Independence Day: Resurgence.

We've heard Jeff Goldblum's David Levinson quip in the trailers that "they like to get the landmarks" and these new international posters showcase Earth's alien adversaries doing just that as they knock off the Statue of Liberty (New York), the Washington Monument (Washington D.C.), the Eiffel Tower (Paris), Big Ben (London), and the Marina Bay Sands towers (Singapore). Check them out below:

As long as it doesn't mess with the ROCKY statue/monument, we good.

Cities so nice, they destroyed them twice lol. Seriously did they just rebuild everything the same, again, in the same damn spot?

@655321 - Every statue of the Enterprise NC-1701 looks the same. Strange. It's like they have some sort of blueprint.

Extremely not hyped for this movie.

But who knows, maybe a throwback to generic action 90s spectacle could work

I was wondering why the space ship kept hitting everything in sight... Then I found out who was driving:

I don't understand how chunks out of the middle would fall out if there was no damage to the top. Especially on the Eiffel Tower.

@MurrCat - Exactly what i was thinking. But it's Independence Day, which is known for nonsensical action scenes.

I'm not excited for this film whatsoever. In 1996 there were no Comic Book Movies. NOT ANYMORE! Plus no Will Smith. Ugh. Plus everytime I see Chris Hemsworth's brother I see stupid Miley Cirus, so blah.
