In an interview with
Total Film,
Chris Pine once again shared his excitement on playing
Steve Trevor in
Wonder Woman and showed his support for
Gal Gadot and director
Patty Jenkins. After set photos leaked late last month, many fans assumed that a portion of the movie would be set during WW I.
Total Film has now confirmed those theories.
Check out Pine’s full quote below, as well as a copy of the article from
Total Film.
“Pine’s already started shooting the Wonder Woman movie with Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins, “It’ll be a f#cking blast,” he says of the suiting up as a WWI fighter Steve Trevor. “Patty’s got a tremendous sense of story, I couldn’t be happier to be supporting Gal in what’s going to be the first female-driven superhero film. I think in the world today we’ve had plenty enough of male-driven everything and it’s finally time to see how wonderful the world can be with beautiful, strong intelligent women kicking some major ass.””
Wonder Woman hits Theatres on June 23, 2017 and Gal Gadot will introduce audiences to Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice which is set to open in theaters on March 25th, 2016.
