I noticed that it's not her sword from BvS. This could possibly be the villains sword or the MacGuffin.

@MARVELPSYCHO79 I've got no problem with you asking that. I'm curious too, but I'm more excited to see an action film in World War 1 setting. I think they're going to tie in a lot of this with modern day scenes to help build the way to the vents after BvS and the Justice League

@MARVELPSYCHO79 What's wrong with a period piece? DC doesn't have to tell their story in a linear fashion. WW was like 80+ before the new 52. Besides it gives them to do what marvel does and make every movie a different Genre. The director don't have to worry about what happens in BvS because this is before that. Don't we want to learn how she became so formidable? I know this wasn't your intention but I think you're jumping the shark here. Besides it looks like Justice league picks up right after Dawn of Justice. Let's give her a fair chance now

The reason they are making this a period piece is to follow the mythology and to establish who she is as an immortal and it's fairly simple to explain why this would be a period piece just as Captain America is a period piece when it first began. Not to say that he is immortal. but it is part of her mythology and I would not be surprised if Trevor ended up in present day since time moves slower in her environment. And the picture to me looks like she is about to off someone or at least is or has been offended somehow and that is her only reaction is to pull out her sword and shield and Trevor is going low slow down you can't do that here. This is going to be an amazing film and I can't wait for it it. Finally it almost appears to me that people who are worried about this being a. Please don't quite understand who wonder woman really is.
