Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”--the super hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, & directed by Joss Whedon from a screenplay by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. Prepare yourself for an exciting event movie, packed with action and spectacular special effects, when “Marvel’s The Avengers” assembled on May 4, 2012. The film is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Was the 'extended cut' theatrical re-release rumor debunked is it still up in the air?

I read somewhere that there was a Hulk scene where Natasha says "now's the time to get angry" and Hulk runs off and rams a car/bus. Not sure where I read it though (I googled Avengers deleted scenes).

Would be sick to have that scene tho.

@skidz Sadly, it was never really a rumor. One site did an editorial on why it's possible, and others sites ran it as a rumor.

man..with ALL the money they've made and WILL make with the dvds, Marvel's gotta shell out serious dough and give us a shit load of bonus features, at least, as close as in the amount of that of ONE Lord of the Rings movie.

This movie will not be forgotten anytime soon. Even though TDK did way better than Iron man, it did not make everyone suddenly forget about Iron man.

No matter how well a TDKR does, its not going to render Avengers forgotten, just like Avengers did not render TDK or even BB "forgotten".

@Blockbanester

Wait wait wait...Avaingers? That is the stupidest attempt at an argument I think I've ever heard. If you really cared about CBMs rather than being one-sided, you'd want BOTH films to do well, not one to do well and the other to be "crude" after another end comes out. How would that happen anyways? Because I liked Star Wars Episode V, Star Wars Episode IV sucks? If anybody here is vain, it's you buddy.

This has been bugging me but I guess I should say it now instead of saving it for my eventual article:

If you search around on YouTube, there's a foreign entertainment news show that does a segment on the Avengers movie, and in it you see a behind the scene clip of Steve Rogers sitting at the same cafe as where that mystery waitress (the one who was interviewed) was working.

So I'm pretty sure she plays a better role in the directors cut (not a significant one) but maybe an important tie in to Captain America 2. Steve was wearing the same outfit he ended the film in so it could have been after he leaves on his bike or maybe before he's picked up by Shield in the quinjet. Thats why the waitress was probably staring at h when he had his mask off?

Meh I got some other things that I'll save for an article if that wasn't news.

How do you take an epic movie and ruin it? Leave the second screen exclusive to Apple products. (or your handy desktop pc which everyone has sitting in their living room). I cannot believe there is no ANDROID support/program!! Outraged. There should be some online movement over this.
