Give John a chance, we just saw Hal Jordan and it wasn´t that great

I think John would be better and it would be good to have racial diversity in the team.

John could have a really interesting origin around his service in the military that could be explored. A bit like Spawns service in the military that could give GL a bit of much needed depth.

Hal Jordan is actually a really cool character, who was just portrayed badly.

Lets not fight make Hal Johns mentor in the film.
