"There's no enemy like the past."

Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) is set to step back into the ring for the third movie in the Rocky spin-off franchise this March, and MGM (via ActionNewz.com) has now debuted two hard-hitting new posters and a TV spot.

The teaser features some new footage of the gifted, but troubled pugilist facing his biggest challenge yet: Former friend turned ruthless rival, Damian, played by Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania star Jonathan Majors.

During an interview with IGN, Jordan told fans that they can "for sure" expect to see Creed IV at some point, and possibly some other spin-offs.

"I just want to expand the Creed-verse within reason, but definitely expect other things around Creed for sure."

After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) has been thriving in both his career and family life. When a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian (Jonathan Majors), resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian – a fighter who has nothing to lose.

Jordan will also be stepping behind the camera for the first time to helm this third instalment in the boxing drama franchise. Tessa Thompson and Phylicia Rashad are set to reprise their respective roles, but Sylvester Stallone will not be back as Rocky Balboa. Zach Baylin and Keenan Coogler penned the script.

Produced by Irwin Winkler, p.g.a., Charles Winkler, William Chartoff, David Winkler, Ryan Coogler, Michael B. Jordan, Elizabeth Raposo, Jonathan Glickman, and Sylvester Stallone, Creed III is set to hit theaters on March 3, 2023.

"I just want to expand the Creed-verse within reason, but definitely expect other things around Creed for sure." It's called a Rocky spin-off not Creedverse you ungrateful thief! The disrespect shown to Sly lately from him and others is kinda disgusting to watch as they all try to make money off of what he created and made popular. They wouldn't have a "Creedverse" without Stallone. I was looking forward to this movie but disrespecting and throwing aside the guy that started the Rocky franchise has soured me on it all.

Was lucky enough to see an early screening of Creed 2 (even if I had to sit in the front row off on the side) and loved it. Saw an early screening of Rocky Balboa too, and it was one of my all-time favorite movie theater experiences. I haven't been keen on going back to theaters as I just don't watch movies as I used to, but there's just too much around the corner that the urge to go is really coming back to me. These Rocky/Creed movies are great to see in theaters.
