Getting fans in the mood for next week's Captain America: The First Avenger release, starting this weekend and on to Monday, the FX channel will be playing a lot of comic book movies; starting with V For Vendetta and ending with Hellboy II: The Golden Army. Sunday will be the biggest day with an all-day-long showing of Marvel's comic book movies, pushing out for the Cap movie especially.

SATURDAY'S MOVIES

V for Vendetta
Spiderman 3
Elektra
Lara Croft: Tomb Raider
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li

SUNDAY'S MOVIES

Fantastic Four
Spiderman 3
X-men
X-Men 3: The Last Stand
The Incredible Hulk
Iron Man

MONDAY'S MOVIES
Blade
X-men
X-Men 3: The Last Stand
The Incredible Hulk
Hellboy II: The Golden Army

Even though most of you probably own these movies on DVD and are able to watch them whenever you'd like, commercial-free, I find myself still watching these on TV. Call me lazy for not popping in the DVD, but I do find it easier to make my girlfriend watch them when they're on TV. Anyhow, I'm not sure why they're mixing some good movies with some crappy ones.

Why is spider-man 3 on twice and iron man only once? They do know iron man was like 100 times better right?

I was hoping they'd do this, thanks for the heads up!

SMH @ the double showings of SM3 and X-3.

If you're going to insist on showing one movie from an franchise then make a the GOOD one. FFS

@SugarYumYum I agree with you

@MovieTheaterLad Lad really. I figured you must be a 16 year old girl who watched it because a boyfriend made you. SM3 was an example of how companies like Sony can take a hit and make it a flop. Should have figured they went to the Bialystock and Bloom film school. if you don't get the reference then you further prove my point
