I like Michael Fassbender, but I don't see him as Bond. Blofeld maybe. Ever since the Man From UNCLE I want Henry Cavill to play Bond. Other than that it's a pretty good cast, but I'm not sure about Joel Edgerton though. Actually yeah substitute Edgerton for Fassbender and I think the cast would be spot on.

@TerryTerrapin - Henry Cavill would make a great James Bond. If I were going for younger 007 he would definitely be my choice but in this case I wanted an older, established and more experienced Bond.

Blofeld was admittedly the hardest to cast, especially because of how drastically his appearance changes throughout the novels. It’s his performances in The Gift, The Great Gatsby and Exodus that has me convinced that he would give us a fantastic Blofeld. He’s a chameleon of an actor who would just disappear into the role. He would make a fine Bond though too, but Fassbender just oozes the charm of Bond straight of the page. Not to mention he has an uncanny resemblance to Fleming’s illustration of the character.

@DetectiveCinema - After looking at the two pictures of Fassbender a little bit more I am starting to see it. He does have that look about him and I think he'd be more believable than Daniel Craig. The problem with Craig is that he's too rough looking, it's sort of hard to see why women would throw themselves at him. Fassbender at least looks like he could bed any woman he wants.

I like your cast picks. Although I would rather see them tackle one of Fleming's stories that aren't adapted yet

@MalseMarcel - I don't know, reading the synopsis for the non-Fleming books they don't sound that good. Death is Forever sounds good though. And I'd actually be happy if Carte Blanche was adapted since some of it is set at the University of York, my hometown.

@TerryTerrapin - The non Fleming books are that great no, but there are still some stories from the short story collections that aren't done yet

@MalseMarcel - Out of the few Fleming novels that haven't been adapted, which story would you like to see?

@DetectiveCinema - I havent actually read a lot of them, so I cant tell you which. On the other hand, I would love to see someone tackle John la carres George Smiley books in a franchise style like JB

This is a pretty good cast. Though you'd basically be rebooting a movie that came out in 2006, I'd have liked for you to have casted each Fleming book starting with "Casino Royale" and ending with "Octopussy and the Living Daylights." But I'm looking forward to the next ones.
