Talking to USA Today, Liam Hemsworth has revealed that he narrowly escaped a nasty injury on the Atlanta set of Francis Lawrence's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire last week. "I twisted my knee. I try to just fight through it. There's so many people standing around waiting for you to do your thing. You feel sort of obligated not to let everyone down." According to the Australian actor, his role as 'Gale' in the highly anticipated sequel will feature a lot more action than the previous instalment. "There's a bunch of action in this one. All of the characters have much more action than they did in the first one." However, Hemsworth has still had to be careful not to bulk up TOO much. "It's The Hunger Games. My character needs to look hungry. A little bit." He joins returning cast members Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, as well as new additions Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Alan Ritchson and Jeffrey Wright. The film will be released on November 22nd, 2013.

Twisted his knee doing WHAT?

All Gale does is get whipped (literally) in the town center. That's the most action he really gets in Catching Fire - and they aren't filming parts of Mockingjay alongside, are they? (That would actually be smart, but you know)

Gale should have had a bigger part in the first movie. After all, he's Katniss's best friend.
