Well Go USA is gearing up to release Max Cloud on digital next month, and has just launched a trailer as well as an official poster. The movie is a retro action flick which follows a gamer's journey into an actual video game.

The upcoming release should be a big hit with CBM fans as it features a myriad of stars from several comic book-related television shows and movies. Starring alongside martial artist Scott Adkins is Tommy Flanagan (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Sons of Anarchy), John Hannah (Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Mummy), Franz Drameh (DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Attack the Block), Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel, No Time to Die), and more talent that fans will recognize from some of their favorite projects.

We will be sharing exclusive interviews with the director and cast members soon, but for now, be sure to check out the official trailer and poster below!

When teen gamer Sarah finds an “easter egg” and accidentally opens a portal into her favorite side-scroller, she becomes trapped in a notorious intergalactic prison, home to the galaxy’s most dangerous villains. To escape, she must finish the game with a little help from her not-so-savvy friend on the outside...or remain a 16-bit character forever.

Max Cloud will be available on Digital on December 18, 2020.

Has to be better than Max Reload and the Nether Blasters. Even my girl couldn't save that one.

Scott Adkins is a beast and deserves more and higher profile projects. Hoping he gets the break-out that's long overdue.

The idea sounds fun, but the execution (from directing to photography to production value) looks terrible. And either the trailer is terribly edited (it is) or they managed to cut it so that none of the jokes land.
