And what's with the villain dude who looks just like Andy Garcia, but isn't? Strange. And will someone please punch Jude Law in the face?

Call me nostalgic, but i would like to see Holmes wear the iconic deerstalker cap in the film

@hockeypants, thats Mark Strong. He's a cool actor. You're right though, he does look like Andy Garcia

That is a Terrible tagline. It could have been worse. "What's up Holmes? Don't you know he's loco?"

"Do you smell what Holmes skillet is cookin'?"

Robert Downey doesn't make crappy movies anymore so it's probably gonna be a good one.

the agony runs deep for me that the characters of holmes and watson are being so brutally and nonsensically bastardized in this fashion. holmes and watson were so opposite to this iteration in every way in the original stories that i wonder why this movie is even named 'sherlock holmes.' what, other than saying, 'elementary, dear watson,' does this film have to do with anything close to the original characters or stories. it pains me that guy ritchie is not respectful enough of the genius of one of his country's great pop-literary talents to just call it something else and change the names or go for it in a more faithful fashion.

I am really looking forward to the new Sherlock Holmes movie, and can’t wait to see Jude Law acting in it! I see he is currently featured in an online game they have made to tie in with the film.

Since the movie only opens in December, I’m going to get my fix there in the meantime.
