In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.

Man Of Steel was directed by Zack Snyder, from a script written by David Goyer. The cast includes: Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Ayelet Zurer, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix, Laurence Fishburne and Richard Schiff.

That Man of Steel clip alone looks better than the real version with the filter.

I liked Elysium, it was something different. My only bug about it was how everything started dragging towards the end. Kruger was a beast though!

Before I leave, did you all know that Eminem was originally planned to star as the main leading role character Matt Damon played?

TheBlackNerd, I knew, but then Eminem said if they weren't filming in Detroit, he's out. By the looks of it, that didn't stop the film's production.. at all.

Elysium and Man of Steel where amazing films in which i enjoyed.

I'd love to see more from the director of Elysium and i am looking forward to the Man of Steel sequel. I just hope the sequel includes more obvious eater eggs that are easy to spot.

Elysium has my favorite director because he made my sci-fi movie of all time. Dictric 9!.
I love how he got the idea of Elysium, the border of Mexico and USA, how people MIGRATE to USA were the rich are assholes and only them are the ones who can have that land of oppurtunities. When i read how he got the idea. he was in Tijuana Mexico (my birthplace) and since there you can LITERALLY see USA over the border he saw the difference of poor and ove there the how it is --rich with no struggles at all. (he was in the poor side of Tijuana and there is not bad but sad, especially with the GOV)

MOS didn't look and feel like a Superman movie at all. It was a disaster porn meant to ruin a great superhero.
OMG! Could it be that WB is HYDRA?

Man of Steel was visually beautiful at least though. If only they kept that ugly gray filter away.
