Preview screenings aside,
Avengers: Endgame doesn't officially open in The US until tomorrow, but the Marvel superhero epic is already off to a fantastic start at the international box office.
After just one day on release overseas,
Endgame has amassed a whopping $169 million. That haul is comprised of $107.5 million in China, $8.4 million from South Korea, $7 million in Australia, and $6 million from France. The movie shattered day-one gross records in all of those locations.
Some analysts predict that the Russo Brothers-directed ensemble could make as much as $300 million when it opens stateside, but most seem to be sticking with a slightly less impressive $260. Either way, the movie is expected to take in more than $800 million globally over the course of its first weekend.
