AVENGERS: ENDGAME Star Mark Ruffalo Takes A Lie Detector Test Over Marvel Movie Spoilers

In a fun new interview, Avengers: Endgame star Mark Ruffalo is forced to take a lie detector test and is asked a number of questions about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Check it out after the jump...

Mark Ruffalo has inadvertently dropped a number of Marvel Cinematic Universe spoilers in the past, and during his latest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the actor was put to the test...literally!

Hooked up to a lie detector machine, the Avengers: Endgame star was asked a number of questions, including whether or not The Hulk is a Skrull and if we'll continue to see Bruce Banner's romance with Black Widow play out. He also refuses to reveal if the first trailer contained any secrets we may have missed when it was released.

However, one "secret" is finally brought to light when Ruffalo reveals that Thanos isn't the only one capable of making someone disappear with a snap of his fingers.

It's all in good fun, but looking back on the actor's habit of dropping spoilers, it will be interesting to watch this interview again a month from now to see if he really did let anything slip.

Absolutely hate Fallon.

Well, hate is a strong word, but I cannot understand how he got this job in the first place, and how he kept it. All his jokes, skits and games are the least funny of any Late Night Show, he's the most fake interviewer on the planet, and he's incredibly cocky. I hate how he fake laughs at everything, interrupts guests constantly, repeats what the guest is saying followed by yet another laugh, and most of all how hypocritical and forcibly friendly he is. Every single interview goes like this:

"Oh my gosh, I love you so much pal, THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT RIGHT THERE, COME ON NOW! Oh my gosh, no one does it like you, you're the best, THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT PAL" with fake laughs every 15 seconds. If everyone is the best, no one is. There is a line between fluffing your guest and licking the boots of everyone.

Colbert is the most professional (serious in a non serious way?), Conan is the funniest in his overall demeanor, Corden has the best games and skits by far, Meyers is the friendliest… But Fallon and in a lesser measure Kimmel? I'm 100% sure many an interviewer would do better than they do, and achieve better numbers. They're getting amazing numbers because of their show's notoriety and because that brings amazing guests, that's it.

Only the opinion of a non American.

@Asturgis - Well the opinion of this American agrees with you 100%. My wife love Fallon but she can't see how fake he is. I watch Colbert, no cable so I don't get Conan now but used to watch him before he was screwed by Leno.

@Asturgis - Network affiliates love empty trash. When they heard "Fallon just wants to play Pictionary with his guests", their eyes lit up like christmas trees.

Nobody is actually all that funny or sharp anymore, I don't think. And while 90's Conan and Dave were their own kind of magic, I don't think the format has really ever been legitimately good for anything. Just a way to fill time and let celebrities flog their latest movie.

@Spock0Clock - I love everything Conan these days, except for the actual talk show haha.

His travel videos, around the office/Jordan schlansky videos, the Clueless Gamer videos, etc. are all fantastic.

@Asturgis - Yeaa but Colbert is a one trick pony at this point. He's become totally predictable. I know what he's gonna do tonight. He's gonna make fun of Trump. He's gonna do that again on Monday, and then Tuesday, and then Wednesday, and so on and so forth. As someone who leans more to the left, I find it sooo stale. We get it, you dislike Trump. Get your writers to write funny things about something else every now and then. It's exhausting

Asturgis - 3/15/2019, 12:35 PM
@webheaded - That is very true. I'm actually surprised you guys are still laughing. I haven't seen a monologue this past year from Corden, Conan, Colbert, even Fallon or Meyers, that hasn't been mostly about Trump. At some point, you have to be asking yourself if they can write jokes about anything else. Kinda like Trevor with racism. I love the guy, but every Behind the Scenes and every guest (at least that I can see on YouTube, not being an American) is always talking about black segregation, white privilege, racism towards black people… Which is fine, but there are other social issues and social groups in America and in the world, and it is, Comedy Central, not the Breakfast Club. With Corden's singing and Fallon's trying to be BFFs with everyone who's rich and white, I guess they all have their thing lol
