AVENGERS: ENDGAME Villain Thanos Wipes Out THE SIMPSONS In Hilarious New Couch Gag

During last night's episode of The Simpsons, the Mad Titan visited Springfield and things didn't end well for all but one member of the iconic cartoon family. Hit the jump to check out the couch gag...

Believe it or not, The Simpsons is currently on its thirtieth season and with most fans and critics agreeing that the show's best days are behind it, most of you would probably like to see FOX's First Family willed out of existence by Thanos.

During last night's episode, the couch gag brought the Mad Titan to Springfield and he wiped out all but Maggie (for reasons which will become clear once you watch the clip below).

A few months from now, The Simpsons will join the Disney family as a result of the merger with Fox. The show won't be going anywhere, however, because the studio will no doubt have big plans to monetise the characters for merchandise, theme parks, and possibly even another movie.

Do you think Homer and company deserved to be obliterated out by Thanos ahead of his return in Avengers: Endgame? Let us know your thoughts on this Marvel-lous couch gag in the comments section.

Thanos is definitely one of, if not the biggest villain of this decade.

@DnA - All of that hype from the Russos about comparing him to Darth Vader feels almost earned. Depending on how Endgame goes, I could see Thanos in that same league.

@DnA - Thanos' name is here to stay. I mean obviously he was a main character in the movie but for Marvel Studios, or dare I say CBMs as a whole, I've never heard people talk and debate about the villain [so much] like this. The Darth Vader comparison that the Russos made was accurate tbh.

...Catching up on Brooklyn Nine-Nine and... until this show I never really watched anything with Craig Robinson in it. I've seen him fancast as the Thing a few times, and suddenly I get it. If he just does his Pontiac Bandit shtick with a mo-cap suit on, I'm sold. This is a dude I'd like to hear shit-talking the Hulk and getting cabbages thrown at him by the Yancy Street Gang.

(This nonsense article is a way better place to gush off-topic about the Fantastic Four, so I'mma just hope I ninja deleted the other one fast enough.)

@Spock0Clock - I just started watching B99, and it’s great. Definitely one of my faves now. I could see a Pontiac Bandit Ben Grimm. Dig it!

@OmegaDaGrodd - ...I watched the British Office. When the American one came out, I think I watched the first episode or two, but it was basically the same, so I never stuck with it.

The impact Infinity War had on memes is honestly the greatest.

Thanos is a great villain, but he needs to get scary in this next one. Needs to get more intense. The audience already sympathizes with him. Now let us love to hate him.

@SanDevil - I'm pretty sure everyone hated Thanos the moment he killed Gamora

Nothing has been close to hilarious when it comes to the Simpsons for a long long time.

Remember when the simpsons used to be original and not recycle jokes everyone has already told?

Long over due. To bad this only happened because of the movie. Thanos never existed before the movie to half the people who watched it.
