Possible AVENGERS 4 Concept Art Reveals Some Very Different Armor Designs For Iron Man

The same Twitter user who leaked all of that amazing Avengers 4 promo art is back and this latest batch of images seemingly reveals a vastly different take on Iron Man. Hit the jump to check it out...

Avengers 4 is shrouded in secrecy but it hasn't been able to escape a number of leaks in recent months (the same thing happened to Star Wars: The Force Awakens and given the anticipation surrounding the sequel, this is no great surprise). Now, the same guy responsible for sharing those images featuring Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Ronin, and more has shared another batch of seemingly leaked images.

There's some speculation that this is actually concept art for Avengers: Infinity War but it's doesn't bear any resemblance to what we saw in that movie, so chances are this does have something to do with the sequel. The focus is solely on Iron Man here as we see some pretty bizarre looking masks, new weapons for the Armoured Avenger, and a piece which may explain his new red and gold armour.

So, to take a look at this new Avengers 4 (?) artwork, click on the "View List" button down below.

I'm not sure what the deal is here but it's important to note that whatever this armour is, it looks a lot like the new suits Thor and Rocket could be seen wearing in the promo art which popped up yesterday. Could these be the masks Earth's Mightiest Heroes wear in outer space or the Quantum Realm?

These seemingly show more alternative uses for Iron Man's new armour and the former is particularly interesting, especially as it looks like it could be used to deliver a killing blow! After witnessing the death of Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy, will Tony Stark be pushed into using lethal force?

Those leaked pieces of promo art for Avengers 4 showed Iron Man wearing a suit with gold sleeves and while these are clearly silver, you have to believe that there's a chance this has something to do with his new look in the movie. Either that or it's just a look at how intricate the interior of his armour is.

They can literally do whatever they want with Avengers 4 from costumes to whatever. Its pretty much shaping up to be an (eventual) alternate universe/what-if story, so they should go all out.

@Kurne - I've been hoping for awhile now, even if it would be really different (and admittedly the most fan theory like thing I've ever said) - I'm hoping they call it Avengers: What If?

It would play well as a counterpoint / fall out to the themes used in IW

Nothing like getting to it late! At least you finally got to it.

These have been out for almost a month.

Not to mention this is unused concept art from Infinity War, not Avengers 4.

But anything for a click!

@L0RDbuckethead - I typically boycott Wilding's trash 99.8% of the time and just google whatever I may find interesting in his clickbait headlines.

But every once in a while, I have to click. Just as a reminder, just to prove to myself that he is still the same little click-hungry wanker he's always been.

(I'm using "wanker" because he's a Brit. And it's a small word he can understand.)

@OptimusPrimeTime - I believe JW is Welsh, actually. Don't quote me on that.

I can imagine Tony Stark having his Nani-tech idea since 2008. Just blueprint after blueprint, until he finally cracked the code for Infinity War.

It's about as lethal and convenient an Iron Man suit can get.

@guyatadesk - A story idea that can happen with Nano-Tech is the side effects of it. Nano-Tech could start to control him / make him feel more machine like. Does he want to become a machine or can he control the machine like effects? Its an interesting idea because society is there. We all live through social media and our phones. It cant be healthy. There are real side effects to those.

@Asturgis - One of the best FPSs of all time, by the way. Can't believe we'll never get another one. One was the first of its kind, and 3 was the only sci-fi shooter that still to this day allowed you to play an entire playthrough with only a bow. The way that bow folded and unfolded, the tags hanging from the handle… God that was an amazing game.

Calm down everyone, it's just clickbait, nothing to see here. As usual...

This is unused concept art from Infinity War and IS NOT RELEVANT TO WHAT THE HEADLINE SAYS.

I think it’s just the base layer underneath the armor that forms first when the nanites activate, you could kinda se the layers forming in IW it just happened very fast
OptimusPrimeTime
OptimusPrimeTime - 10/12/2018, 10:26 AM
@Ha1frican - that's exactly what it is because this is concept art FROM Infinity War.

Literally has nothing to do with the headline under which it was posted.
