Thanos Creator Jim Starlin Addresses The Report That Another One Of His Characters Will Appear In AVENGERS 4

It was some time ago that a report came out claiming Jim Starlin said another another one of his creations would appear in Avengers 4, and now the legendary writer has finally addressed that rumor...

Shortly after Avengers: Infinity War left audiences stunned, a report claimed Jim Starlin told fans at a comic con in Puerto Rico that he would receive an additional “created by” credit because another one of his Marvel creations would make their big debut in Avengers 4.

In response to that report and the various theories and rumors that have arisen as a result, the Thanos creator took to Facebook to clarify the comments he made at the Q&A.

“I then kidded that I was going to shoot for three ["Created by" credits] in the next movie,” Starlin explained on his Facebook post. “I never said another of my characters is going to be appearing in it as has been widely reported since then. That was a mistake on the original reporters part.”

So, it seems any comments he made were in jest, and shouldn’t be taken as proof of a character’s appearance. That said, some will undoubtedly note that he isn’t outright denying the possibility of one of his creations appearing in Avengers 4.

What do you folks make of his comments? Do you think there's still a chance a character like Eros or Kronos will pop up in Avengers 4? Sound off in the comments below.

Hard to say if he's trying to cover his tracks or not.

Even if he does have another creation show up in A4 I doubt it would be Adam Warlock. I think all eyes will be on Captain Marvel in that one. She's basically filling the Adam Warlock space in A4 from the sounds of things.

@Ronan3Accuser - Episode III Hayden Christensen would have been a good Adam Warlock (physically speaking) now that I look at it.

Ermmm Adam Warlock was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby 1st appearance F2F. So if Jim is talking about someone it's not Adam Warlock.

What i want to know is did he get paid more this time for Thanos?
DC paid him more for Deathstroke than he did for Thanos in GotG. And Deathstroke appeared less

Perhaps it's still about Kronos, which was written not so long ago? The dude is connected with time. In Avengers 4, according to rumors, there will be moments associated with time. In addition, given the not-so-repeated Eternals, which will appear in MCU, grandfather of Thanos (Kronos) is one of the most important characters. Too many pleasant coincidences so as not to show it.

Although personally I want to see Marvel have already shown Eternity, The Queen of Nevers, Lord Chaos, Master Order etc.
