While still under promotional duties for Kill the Messenger, Jeremy Renner recently sat down with Access Hollywood to discuss the drama thriller novel adaptation, as well as the many blockbuster action franchises he's attached to. About Avengers: Age of Ultron, Renner said the 2015 Marvel sequel will be bigger, better and more intimate. "I think everything that worked in the first one is exponentially gonna be better in this one," explained Jeremy. "The comedic relief, action is gonna be bigger... There is more time spent with all the Avengers together as a unit on and off the clock if you will. Which is actually really fun. A lot of secrets are revealed and more secrets are imposed." When asked, oddly, why Hawkeye doesn't have any superpowers, Jeremy Renner responded: "He never did and nor has Black Widow; they just have a high skill-set. I think that is why I wanted to play Hawkeye anyway. I could relate to that and understand a guy who has a high skill-set; I get that. I could never do what [Chris] Hemsworth does [as Thor]; flying around with a hammer and sell that. He can do it, but I can't. There is a lot more Hawkeye in [Age of Ultron] too, so it's great fun," he concluded. Anyhow, check below for the full interview where Jeremy Renner offers some updates on Mission Impossible 5 and The Bourne Betrayal

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure. Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision. Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963. Get set for an action-packed thrill ride when The Avengers return in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron on May 1, 2015.

@DCMarvelFreshman This video was posted several hours ago and was already on main. This is kind of ridiculous.

I think there's far worse things to get upset about than two similar articles on the front page at the same time. Not the end of the world.

Had this article in the making for a while now and literally no one gave me a heads up that the MTV interview was already posted. Thanks you guys.

However, the Access Hollywood portion has NOT been posted if I'm not mistaken.

Jesus does Renner have to explain himself to the most odd questions for this franchise?

Ask him if he rides a bike.

Also, since we’re on the topic of Avengers: Age of Ultron, I recently came across an excerpt by the site known as CinemaBlend (in trying to find a few more different viewpoints), on the Avengers: Age of Ultron Comic-Con Trailer. They stated that they were “amazed [at] just how different the movie looked cinematically compared to the first”, and how “it look[ed] like a whole new style of filming;” a few comments I had not heard from many of the other sites that witnessed this trailer.

I don’t know, I just thought you guys might find it interesting. I guess Davis is putting in some great work over there, alongside Whedon.

@DaVinci31 I like that you mentioned that, because Whedon has previously said that he didn't really have much of a cinematic vision for the style of The Avengers. People made a lot of complaints that the movie just looked like a made-for-TV film, and I like that he actually listened to that and is apparently making an effort to do better. I'm seriously looking forward to seeing the first footage from Age of Ultron to see for ourselves!

that damn trailer cant get here soon enough. they better show THOR in god mode for once dammit. serious strength feat or god blast or thor force (which he should have if odin is dead) or sumthin. I mean I get that he is the fish outta water and cant have much to do with moving the sci fi plot forward but if he is just gonna be there he better have some big moments.

things that I need to see in this movie

good power display from thor
russo cap, not soft campy whedon version
hawkeye character depth and more combat showing
impressive quicksilver
no hulk widow bullhit
no "iron man 4" in disguise
winter soldier mention
at least one Rhodes fight scene

hit those and ill see the movie eight times

there will most likely be a huge public announcement/countdown. "5days till the trailer hits" type nonsense. then we will get a teaser of the trailer.
