As a avid fan of the Telltale series, when the announcement came that the studio would pursue our favorite horned hero, I like many thought..

                                                                                             "How?"

Telltale games have mostly strived for a Story rich and dialogue driven adventure. Not to say they haven't done their action well in previous outings, Game of Thrones and of course The Walking Dead have been hugely successful but I mean common.....

This is Batman!

All in all, those games have been mainly focused on putting you in tough situations and engaging conversation opportunities, and as interesting as that may sound for Bruce Wayne, it dosen't have the same ring to it if your playing as Batman.

But here we are, it's 2016, the world has changed a lot in the few years. A lot of crazy things are happening now days. Blink 182 put out an new album, The Chicago Cubs are actually good, and somehow Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton are our only two choices for the American Presidency...

                                                                                      Dear God...

My point is with all of these "interesting" things happening in the world around us, a Telltale Batman story dosen't seem like the craziest thing to happen recently and im okay with Telltale taking on the story of Batman in a point and click adventure game because guys.. it's pretty damn good.

I was very surprised with the amount of depth this game provides us. This game gives us the oppertunity to play as our favorite hero and charming counterpart Bruce Wayne.

I know what your thinking, typically you'd rather be kicking ass as batman, and you still right but when the game does shift to the scenes where you take on the role of Bruce, you don't really realize it because of how well it smoothes into one another. The scenes with Batman are just as important as the encounters you face while adopting the role as Bruce Wayne. Each action you make with either Batman or Bruce affects one another in some kind of way. All of the actions don't get resolved because we are only at 1 of 5 episodes but it’s easy to spot the potential your decisions can make.

Now the action you do encounter in this game is easily what you would expect if you've played a Telltale game before. Clicking, quick button tapping, it's all the same. I personally don't consider that a bad thing. If your in the right mindset you didn't buy or pirate this game illegally for the action (Don't worry, I won't say anything about the Pirating, just make sure you be sneaky about it. My internet providers found out about it back when I was in High School and shut off my internet. Just looking out for ya.)

Regardless, this game thrives with it's basic but engaging story and nostalic take on Mr. Batman. Without giving anything away, some very famous and interesting charecters make appearances and a few seem like they will play a key role in the story to come.

Theres not much more to say, you're a smart person, you get the point.
If your a Batman fan, you've already got this game on your mind.

As always thanks for reading and leave me a comment. It's Midnight and everyones asleep so...

                                                                                     Keep me company :)
