DKR is apparently currently in development as the logically follow up to Year One. His first years and his final years.

@ marvel72 I would like to see some of those too! It would be nice if DC did a series of movies that led up to DKR. Rather than just having a jumbled mess of storylines animated.

Bruce Timm has already commented that the one series they would NEVER try to adapt is Kingdom Come. (I was soooo hoping they would do it but it's a no go) I would love to see other characters such as THE FLASH get their own DVD animated movie... hopefully we will :)

@MoumentheBatman - what do they mean by the 1st 2 books of the novel? like the first 2 sections of Dark Knight Returns? or Dark Knight Returns and Dark Knight Strikes Back? was there a 3rd part to it or was it just those 2? kinda confused but dark knight strikes back would be awesome with all the older heroes finally stepping back up to the plate

@ marvel72- I completely agree. I love Batman as much as the next guy but lets not over saturate the market when you have other economically viable options like those you have mentioned. I say economically viable because the fat cats at WB seem high on Batman simply because he is a cash cow. There are other characters taht have compelling stories that if marketed correctly could bring in some green.

And if the Green Arrow Supermax story isn't going to be made into a live action movie lets at least see it in animated form. Also, I would love to see a Deathstroke and The Question get a movie or at least mini-movies.

From what I understand, the problem is that while anything with Batman and Superman sells really well, the sales have been disappointing for such things as Wonder Woman and Green Lantern.
