This is why I love Nolan. Good interview and good director. He really cares about the character and how he is relevant to our culture.

So, Paulie, go out and score your own interviews in better quality and post them. I'll be the first in line to listen to them and praise their audio awesomeness.

Ed@ how did you get an interview in the first place?

yeoldeemoney, I do this for a living. Have been for the past 25 years, so I've accumulated A LOT of interviews. Although I speak to actors on occasion, I usually speak to behind the scenes personnel, who have the best stories about the making of films and TV shows anyway.

Cool. I would love to get in the film industry someday. Keep up the good work.

Great interview! For a man with no real background in comics other than the movies, he certainly understands the character dynamic. For anyone who directs a Superman film in the future (a good one!), I'd probably ask the same thing. What's his role in such a cynical world, why does he remain such a popular character in the world we live in now?
