The first official trailer for Batman: Bad Blood has been released and it presents a number of interesting questions. Why is Batman missing and how are Batwing and Batwoman connected? Can Nightwing replace The Dark Knight in the interim or is Gotham doomed?

In the latest DC All Access, we get the first official trailer for Batman: Bad Blood. The film premiered this past weekend at New York Comic Con, ahead of its VOD, blu-ray and DVD release date in 2016. In the film, Batman goes missing and Dick Grayson steps into the cape-and-cowl to buy time to try and find the Caped Crusader. Assisting him are Robin (Damian Wayne), Batwoman (Kate Kane) and Batwing (Luke Fox).


Jason O’Mara voices Batman. Gaius Charles plays Nightwing. Chuck's Yvonne Strahovski is Batwoman. Stuart Allen voices Damian Wayne/Robin. Gotham's Morena Baccarin plays Talia al Ghul. Gaius Charles is Luke Fox/Batwing. Ernie Hudson plays Lucius Fox.

Batman: Bad Blood is a continuation of the DC animated film series began in 2014's Batman and Son and contiued in 2015's Batman vs Robin.

Kevin Conroy will always be the definitive voice for Batman, but Jason O'Mara is doing a pretty bang up job.

I'm looking forward for Bad Blood and the Killing Joke, I really love the "DC Universe Animated Original Movies" and of course especially the Batman movies, Under the Red Hood and The Dark Knight Returns are masterpieces to me. And in my opinion, Son of Batmna and Batman vs Robin weren't that bad, I kinda like the Damien Wayne Robin, so excited for more Blu-rays! ;-)
But I would still love to see a new Superman animated movie, the last one was 3 years ago I think.

I guess DC Animation is doing only Batman and Justice League titles now. It's a shame, I really liked everything else they've done and I'm so over a lot of the Batman titles, especially since these stories are pretty recent. They should just do a weekly animated show and free up the films for other characters.

Can't watch the trailer since I'm at work right now, but if it's not African Batwing then I don't give a [frick]. I was so pissed when they ended his run after about 20 issues. And they ended it in such a dumb way. He claims he can't do what needs to be done by following Batman's rules, yet he accomplishes his goal at the end by following Batman's rules. I dropped it after that issue.

I still wish Jason wasn't the voice of Batman. I understand why Kevin isn't Batman, but why not use one of the other people that'd played him.
