We weren't sure if Jim Gordon was going to be making an appearance in The LEGO Batman Movie, but sure enough, The Dark Knight's closest ally pops up in one of the new TV spots below.

We do know that Barbara Gordon is going to be the Gotham's commissioner in the movie, so that must mean her father retires, or maybe even... dies? Seems very unlikely, but then again, they did decapitate Vitruvius in The LEGO Movie!

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO® Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble—LEGO Batman—stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

The LEGO Batman Movie also stars Rosario Dawson (Batgirl), Ralph Feinnes (Alfred), and Mariah Carey (Gotham's mayor). The movie is set to hit theaters February 10, 2017.
