Matt Damon Would Be Up To Play A DC Comics Hero Or Villain Under Ben Affleck's Direction
Hollywood's dynamic duo is ready for a super reunion. Matt Damon talks here about joining the DC Film Universe only if under Ben Affleck's direction, but will he choose to be a hero or a villain?
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are Hollywood's greatest dynamic duo, and ever since Ben Affleck signed on to don the Dark Knight's cape and cowl for the DC Film Universe, fans have been wondering just how soon will it be until he brings in his longtime friend, Matt Damon, into the would of DC heroes. Well, it looks like Matt Damon is finally ready for the capes and tights, and all he needs is for Ben to give him the right role. "If he (Ben) was directing me, I’d jump on it in a New York minute," Damon told the Irish Examiner. "I’d love to work with Ben. The problem with Ben is every time he directs a movie, he gives himself the best role in it, so until he’s willing to give up the best role to one of his friends, we’re not going to get on with it."
As of now, the only film Affleck is directing is the untitled Batman film that he's co-writing with Geoff Johns, so if Damon is eager to work under Affleck's direction, it's more than likely going to be for a Batman film. It would be great to see Matt Damon join the DC Film Universe, possibly as Hush or any other of Batman's many villains. Are you excited at the possibilty of seeing Matt Damon join Ben Affleck in a DC film?
