The Batman has been shooting in Liverpool, England all day, and that means we've been treated to a tonne of set photos from the highly anticipated DC Comics adaptation helmed by Matt Reeves.
Here, we get a closer look at Collin Farrell's Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, and it's crazy to see the work that's gone into completely transforming the normally very handsome actor. He's certainly in line with the comic books, and was even spotted holding an umbrella during these rainy scenes.
There are also additional shots of Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) and Selina Kyle (Zoe Kravitz). Howerver, something comic book fans have noticed in this batch of photos is the fact that John Turturro's Carmine Falcone has the same scars across his face - which came courtesy of Catwoman in the source material - as his comic book counterpart.
Has he crossed paths with the vigilante? It certainly seems likely, though chances are Falcone doesn't realise Selina and that masked woman are one in the same.
It's hard not to be intrigued by what's to come in The Batman after seeing photos like these, as Reeves is clearly taking cues from the comic books for his take on these characters.
