Nolan's blurays usually come out in December.
Both Inception and The Dark Knight were released in early December and they both came out in late July

I hope they re release the Dark Knight Blu Ray with some actual extra's similar to Batman Begins. I was very disappointed with the bonus content on The Dark Knight DVD. Perhaps they will re release it before the Dark Knight Rises comes out in theaters, like they did four years ago when they released Batman Begins right before The Dark Knight was released.

I'm sorry but The Danny Elfman Batman theme sounds so cheesy now. I think it works better for Cartoons like BATS than it does in live action.

89 Batmobile is stupid. lol the richest man in the world Bruce Wayne definitely isn't Batman when driving in a nice car.

The tumbler is the opposite of what someone like Bruce Wayne would ride.

Another thing 89 screwed up on. Burton is no better than Bay, Batman killing, Joker killing Waynes Parents, Gordon useless, and Fox not even in it

No I just find Denny Elfman's scores to be cheesy. I never really liked him as a composer, he has had some decent songs, but I just don't dig him. It has nothing to do with Zimmer being dark and gritty, which I don't think he is. It's just a musical preference. Chill out Steve Rogers Son we are all allowed to have opinions. No need to get overly sensitive.

I also think John Williams Superman main theme sounds really dated and cheesy as well, and I think he is one of the best to ever score movies. His Star Wars Themes hold up much, much better.

LOL people really rather have the new "2-note" score than Elfman's?

Not that the new one is bad at all - actually is very good, but still: way too simple and not remarkable IMO - but Elfman's just one of the best scores ever!
LOL

@thewonderer - you really don't know much do you? Tim Burton patterned his Batman movie on the ORIGINAL Bat-Man comic book by Bob Kane wherein he pretty much also used guns AND killed the bad guys. It wasn't until after a few issues did he revamp Batman to act like he does today. In a sense, it IS still true to the ORIGINAL way Batman was portrayed in the earliest years. Having joker kill Wayne's parents was his own twist. READ THE COMICS! Some of his Batmobiles in the books were pretty much modified sports cars and a few customs down the years. Before you shoot your fool mouth off, know what the hell you're talking about.

Yeah, the '89 car is by FAR the best of the bunch, followed by the 60's version. The other three are just crap.

@LOL

Actually Tim Burton didn't base his Batman off any comics. He has been on record multiple times saying he never read any comics and wanted to do his own spin on the character. Having The Joker kill Bruce's parents was just a lazy way to tie the two characters together.

Woah no disrespecting Elfman.
His Batman score is one of the best in CBMs
I think he made the BEST Batman theme so far,
but Hanz Zimmer made the best soundtrack overall with Batman begins
