THE BATMAN Star Robert Pattinson Says His Favorite Villain Is... The Condiment King!

During a new interview, The Batman star Robert Pattinson was asked which of The Dark Knight's villains is his favorite, and he revealed his love for Batman: The Animated Series baddie The Condiment King.

The Dark Knight encountered several reimagined villains in Matt Reeves' The Batman, including The Riddler, The Penguin and Carmine Falcone. A sequel seems inevitable at this point, so which rogues could we see the Caped Crusader face-off against in The Batman 2?

How about The Condiment King!

Robert Pattinson was asked which villain stood out as his favorite during an interview with Brut México, and revealed that he's always been a big fan of the comedic baddie introduced in the classic Batman: The Animated Series.

Based on co-star Zoe Kravitz's (Selina Kyle) reaction, this is not the first time Pattinson has expressed his love for the Condiment King! Check out the video clip below.

The character, real name Mitchell Mayo, has never really been taken seriously (for obvious reasons), but he has become something of a cult favorite villain over the years and has made several notable appearances in the comics following his animated debut back in the '90s.

It's difficult to imagine The King assailing Pattinson's Batman with mustard and ketchup on the big screen, but who knows! A deranged, condiment obsessed serial killer who dispatches his victims by causing anaphylactic shock?

Maybe not.

Gritty reimagining of condiment king as villain of the batman 2.

It'll open on batman entering a murder scene with a guy who drowned on mustard.

It’d be quite funny if they did a nod with a scene of a robber robbing a diner and Bat’s disarms the robbers gun, for him to only grab the next nearest weapon, a bottle of ketchup

I LIKE THAT. It's subtle yet amazing.

Take it one step further where the robber actually discharges his firearm and you see Battinson with ketchup across his chest.
Heheheheheheh. Hit em with that Mark of Zorro with the initials of, CK

@SatsuiNoJXA - exactly man, would be a nice way for comic relief. I’d be down for the next movies opening “bad guys staring into darkness” montage, it’s just Bat’s taking down his more cheesier rogue gallery members but only more grounded lol. Even a voiceover on how he’s inspired more theatrical villains.

Like montage shots of him stopping a kidnapper with an exaggerated large top hat on, and a serial killer with a pig mask…

Perhaps a cameo, though I don't know if The Condiment King fits into Reeves' universe.

I always thought a cameo from Martin Freeman playing the Clock King would be fun.

Matt Reeves take on the Condiment King could be a serial killer, who squirts ketchup and mustard packets on the bodies as his calling card, lol

Wait... This is good.
