Just yesterday,
set photos of the
Joker appearing in
Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn) surfaced and not a day later, Jared Leto released the below post on his Snapchat, referencing his time as Gotham's Clown Prince of Crime. Is it just a coincidence?
Some fans are speculating that a stand-in was used for Leto's tattooed menace and that Leto himself will just provide the voice. Others are stating that Leto may actually appear, as a flight from the UK (where Leto is filming Sony's
Morbius) to Los Angeles, CA (where
Birds of Prey is filming) is only 10 hours on a private jet.
What do you make of this development? The set photos confirm that it's definitely the Joker from
Suicide Squad that's appearing. but the angle of the pics make it impossible to confirm whether it's Leto or a stand-in.
Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) hits theaters on February 7, 2020. Cathy Yan (
