It looks like all the major roles in Warner Bros. and director Cathy Yan's Birds of Prey have now been filled, as Variety reports that Newcomer Ella Jay Basco will portray Casandra Cain in the R-rated "girl gang" movie.

She'll join the returning Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, and Ewan Mcgregor as the villainous Black Mask.

There's barely any info available for Basco online, but we do know that this will be her feature debut having previously appeared in the likes of Grey’s Anatomy, Veep, and Superior Donuts.

The trade's report also shares some new plot details. It seems Harley and the others will team-up to "protect Cain’s character when she comes across a diamond belonging to McGregor’s Black Mask, a kingpin in Gotham City’s criminal underworld."

Birds of Prey is set to fly into theaters on February 7, 2020.
