Warner Bros. Rumored To Be Considering A HARLEY QUINN Trilogy Of Movies Starting With BIRDS OF PREY

This should be taken with a huge pinch of salt for the time being but it's a rumour which certainly makes a lot of sense. Apparently, Warner Bros. is currently considering a Harley Quinn trilogy of movies which would kick off with Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) before being followed by Gotham City Sirens and Birds of Prey v Gotham City Sirens.

A couple of sources are claiming that this is the studio's plan, and it would definitely be fun to seeMargot Robbie's Harley teaming up with Huntress and Black Canary before meeting Poison Ivy and Catwoman and then being stuck in the middle of a fight between the two groups of anti-heroes.

It's no secret that Robbie is a fan of the Harley/Ivy relationship, so that being brought to the big screen definitely seems plausible.

It all depends on how well Birds of Prey is received and whether or not it's a box office success, but we know Warner Bros. is anxious to develop more female-led projects (whether or not they'll really want to try and combine franchises again after Justice League is hard to say but it sounds like this would be one storyline playing out over three movies, potentially).
