A new banner for Birds of Prey has been unveiled, and it gives us another look at Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and co. paying homage to Friends. We also have a first look at the first wave of Funko POPs...

On the heels of the first full trailer for Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), Warner Bros. has released a new promo banner featuring the five ladies that'll make up the movie's central "girl gang."

As you can see, Harley (Margot Robbie), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco) and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez) are paying homage to the Friends TV series as they relax on a far more comfortable-looking version of the Central Perk couch.

I have a feeling we are going to be getting a very different Cassandra Cain in this movie than in the comics. She looks more like a typical street smart kid here rather than the highly trained mute daughter of a dangerous assassin.

I really don't get it. Based on what we've seen this is primarily a Harley movie. They're certainly selling it as primarily a Harley movie.

Why not at the very least call it 'Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey' or something, and maybe not confuse general audiences and alienate actual BoP fans?!

@Kyos - You act like "actual Birds of Prey fans" is a significant number of people. Or comicbook fans in general. We're just not. Not compared to the number of people who see movies.

And I'm pretty sure general audiences are going to get the memo that Harley Quinn is back.
