DC Comics To Release 'Deathstroke Vs. Batman' Series!
A brand new series from DC Comics 'Deathstroke Vs. Batman' is yet to be released in April. The new series will be worked on by Deathstroke's Rebirth team!
While DC Comics has not yet officially announced the release date for the anticipated series, fans can expect to see Deathstroke Vs. Batman hitting shelves in April. The new series will be handed to a team that has worked heavily with the character of Deathstroke. Both Christopher Priest and Carlo Pagulayan had been in charge of Deathstroke's Rebirth run and will now be taking on the new series.
The Deathstroke Rebirth run has been one of the best titles presented from DC's Rebirth. The series has given fans a different outlook on who Deathstroke is as a character as he's depicted as a misguided hero, exploring his skills and abilities as a powerful assassin, while also showing how he struggles as a father.
Of course though bringing Batman into the series has some fans already questioning whether this series is hinting at a future standoff in the DCEU. Personally, I don't believe this is a hint at that. However, Manganiello did also appear in the post-credits scene in the Justice League which does cement a huge possibility of a future standoff between Batman and Deathstroke.
There's no doubt that Priest will be able to deliver an amazing series for the fans as he has demonstrated just how much he understands Deathstroke. Having added layers into the character of Deathstroke that previously didn't exist, Priest has also worked with Batman in the current run of Justice League and has constantly proven Batman's humanity in the series.
This will definitely be an interesting series, especially as it features two of DC's most loved characters and pitting one of the greatest heroes against one of the greatest villains from DC.
