COMICS: The Dawnbreaker, An Evil BATMAN-GREEN LANTERN Hybrid, Has A Very Different Memory Of Crime Alley

An evil Oa-powered Batman will menace the Justice League in Dark Nights: Metal #2 but his origin story will unfold in Ethan Van Sciver and Sam Humphries' Batman: The Dawn Beaker, out October 4.

Unlike the preview for The Red Death, which sees a Batman of the Dark Multiverse attempting to steal the Flash's power, The Dawnbreaker reveals that the Hal Jordan of this dark dimension never received Abin Sunr's ring. Instead, it went to a young Bruce Wayne, just moments after his parents were gunned down in Crime Alley.

Needless to say, this particular development doesn't end well for Joe Chill. Especially since the Green Lantern rings of the Dark Multiverse appear to not have a built-in limiter that prevents killing.
