COMICS: The Original Jay Garrick Is Finally Returning To The DC Universe Thanks To The WATCHMEN Mystery

Wally West was brought back thanks to the events of DC Rebirth and it appears as if Jay Garrick is next. A new Earth-2 version of the character was reintroduced in 2011 to mixed reviews, but all the signs are now pointing to the original Justice Society of America returning to the DC Universe as part of the big Watchmen mystery which is currently ongoing.

The Jason Fabok cover below comes from The Flash #22, the final part of "The Button" crossover with Batman which will revolve around The Comedian's button after it appeared in the Batcave.

The two heroes look set to investigate how exactly Doctor Manhattan has manipulated the reality of the DC Universe, and it now appears as if Garrick will be a big part of that. DC Comics is taking a slow burn approach to this story, but it's a really compelling mystery and the return of this Flash is definitely going to be welcomed. What do you guys think?
