DC Comics Imagines SUPERMAN As The Head Of A Kryptonian Dynasty In FUTURE STATE: SUPERMAN: HOUSE OF EL #1

DC Comics has released an advance solicitation and preview of the cover for Future State: Superman: House of El #1, which sees The Man of Steel leading his grandchildren in a new El dynasty.

The advance solicitation and two covers for February's Future State: Superman: House of El #1 have revealed a very interesting future for the Last Son of Krypton. Set centuries into the future, the bloodline of EL has expanded across the galaxy as the Man of Steel appears to be leading a heroic dynasty comprised of his descendants.

The twins of the current Superboy Jonathan Kent appear to be keeping the family tradition alive as one is the new Superman of Earth while another is a Blue Lantern. Another one of his descendants looks a lot like Starfire, which makes sense as Theand’r Ban-El is described as having a Tamaranean mother.

The solicit also ends with the tantalizing tease that the Black Racer has a role to play in the series!

A big thumbs up for this site to have more comic news.

Better than exclusive interviews about non-comic movies, imo.

On the cover, Kal looks grim enough for Snyder.

I loled at how they're all costumed and armored up and then there's just this dude dressed casual:

Supes reminds me of Magneto in House of M.

How long has it been for Supes to look like this

When he's suppose to look like this, billion of years down the line

Sounds like it could be really interesting as an Elseworlds story.

I'm not up-to-date with the comics right now, but it feels kinda un-Superman to lead some dynasty.

Wasn't the Red King the name of the villain in Planet Hulk.
