As I live in the UK I buy all my comics online via the UK based online comic retailer, Disposable Heroes Comics.  DHC recently revealed their limited edition variant cover for Amazing Spider-Man #1, drawn by non other than the talented Dale Keown (Incredible Hulk).  DHC went into a little bit of detail on their facebook page about the choices for this particular cover: "The cover was based on an old Italian movie poster for Return Of The Fly and DHC hope to keep reworking classic movie posters as a trend for all future exclusives.  The DHC logo is still to be placed on the cover but we have asked Marvel if it can be placed on the rear cover so not to take away from the art."

"Both colour and black & white versions are available on the site with the B & W cover having a more limited print run. We did consider an 'aged' version with some browning and mock paper damage to tie in with the vintage look but we just didn't have time.
Anyways....enjoy!"

This, personally, is my favourite variant cover so far for Amazing Spider-Man #1, and I love the B-Movie vibe to it.  If you are interested in purchasing it you can get it from their website here:

I bloody loved TASM, my favourite spidey film alongside Spider-Man 2, so I am extremely psyched for TASM2. A lot of the praise is directed at the romance aspect of the film and the Peter Gwen relationship, I'm sucker for that. I'm really hoping I enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the first film.

I don't wanna start a flame war though or anything, I can completely understand while people don't like it, but I just happened to love it to bits. If it was the cast of TASM with DOC OCK from spidey 2 as the villain, for me it would be the perfect Spider-Man movie.

@Cipher yeah I know right? I'd love to see him do some spidey stuff after seeing this cover.

Sorry...TASM was weak.
It would be great to somehow replace Tobey parts with Andrew in the Raimi films.
Garfield is a better fit than Maguire.
