COMICS: Alex Ross Shares FANTASTIC FOUR Artwork Seemingly Revealing Reed And Sue's MARVEL LEGACY Return

Alex Ross has shared a new piece of Fantastic Four artwork on social media but quickly deleted it. However, you can see what may be confirmation of Reed and Sue's long overdue return after the jump...

Reed Richards and Sue Storm have been absent from the Marvel Universe since the end of Secret Wars and that means there's been no Fantastic Four. It all boils down to Ike Perlmutter's dispute with 20th Century Fox and his decision not to publish any more Fantastic Four comics in a bid to hurt their plans for the characters in live-action but it's widely thought that the team will return in Marvel Legacy.

We already know that the new Marvel Two-in-One is going to feature The Thing and the Human Torch searching for
Mr. Fantastic and The Invisible Woman but could Marvel Legacy feature some sort of flashforward to their return? As you can see, Alex Ross shared a piece of artwork on Instagram which he quickly deleted and it features a new look for the iconic duo who have been M.I.A. for some time.

It's possible this is a commission or a variant that Ross shared by mistake but it appears as if the door may finally be open to the return of Marvel's First Family. What do you think about this possible reveal? As always, be sure to share your thoughts and theories in the comments section down below.

@TheBigkahuna - I like how Ross the Boss went with Russell Johnson as his model for Reed Richards in Marvels.

Dat 60's hairstyle.

Hey, how cool would it be to have the FF coming to the MCU by time-travelling from the 60's a la Planet of The Apes?
One can dream....

@Fogs - I heard that from moviebob but I don't know. They already did a time displaced story with cap. And I can't think of what else they can do with it other than the standard not understanding modern life thing

@Origame - Ah, but if you take into account Star-Lord is also gone since the 80's he'll suffer the same effect when returns.
