Well as long as Carlie's exposing him to the Avengers, I'm still interested in the plot.

As a non-Marvel fan, i must say Spider Ock's new costume is BOSS.
It's why i say they should go for a New 52 style total reboot. It would justify the setting, plot and costumes, instead of trying to work around existing continuity.

oh yeah, id just love having so many years of continuity be ignored.

Marvel are good at using whatever continuity suits the story and not worrying about the rest. ANything from another book that you need to know, they'll tell you in the story. You don't need to wipe all that, it adds a layer of context that rewards longtime readers.

Also, RECAP pages. How on Earth DC doesn't use recap pages, i'll never know. Its just common sense.

@Intruder, The Ultimate Universe was not a reboot, it was another universe since 616 is still printed. I agree with GetsugaTensho22, give the 616 a reboot, put peter in the new suite, instead of the original xmen from the past coming to the future just reboot em and start over.

i love the superior spider-man costume! just wish they would have kept the chest design closer to the original spider-man, the first incarnation of superior spider-man. i think the update makes it look too similar to miles morales. i do love both costumes! :) but why is every spider-man swinging around have red and black?

Hmmmm......SSM continues to read like a really bad Saturday Morning cartoon. LOL, Minions & Spider Island??? An incredibily childish concept.

A love letter to Ditko it is not. There is more intelligence, passion, integrity and creative genius in one page of the LEE/DITKO books than anything Dan Slott could ever possibly hope to achieve.

The dialogue in SSM is so dumbed down. At best SSM is a kiddies cartoon caricature, a parody of the former and glorious super-hero book, the "Amazing Spider-Man".
