Bryan Singer's indirectly responsible for the travesty that was X-Men 3 because he left to do Superman Returns? (Which was also a travesty...) And he took James Marsden with him so they had to kill off Cyclops? A bit of a stretch.

Bryan Singer was NOT part of killing off cyclops for the 1,000,000,000,000th time! lol I would go on to say his plans he had for Cyclops in his X3 film but people would never believe me. smh :(

Singer had huge plans for Cyke in X3. From what I've read he was supposed to have Wolverine's role, with Wolverine playing a small role similar to Hulk in Avengers. That what you read?

WHOA! I did not read that. lol In fact, I don't read anything at all on regards to what Cykes role actually was. I was just bluffing. However I did read in the Empire Magazine Special that both Cyclops and Professor X were meant to have larger roles and that he wouldn't have killed them off. Singer also stated that it would follow elements of the Phoenix (not dark Phoenix) saga.

^^^ sorry if I got you excited or interested bro, but honestly what I posted above was what I read in the empire magazine special.^^^

Singer saw the final cut before it was released into theaters and he was even shocked himself with what was done to the Cyclops and Professor X. He admitted that he had never told Ratner that he saw it to prepare himself before it was released in theaters.

Dude I just read the article and that entire plot sounds BEAUTIFUL!!! God I wish we could've got that. I honestly believe they'll go the Phoenix route again after Apocalypse. That story just sounds so promising. WOW! :,)

Brett Ratner directed X-Men: The Last Stand sadly :( I still give the film credit or things like touching on Beast and Angel and finally seeing Iceman iced up, but other than that I was uncomfortable with how it turned out.
