Aside from Marvel Generations, the other big event coming down the pipeline from the comic book publisher is  a sequel to 2012's Spider-Men, which will solve the mystery of who is the 616-universe version of Miles Morales. Fans have been wondering for the last 5 years what Peter learned when he Googled Miles Morales' name while back in his own dimension and was shocked at the results.

On the upcoming series, Bendis has previously stated, "Miles and Peter are dealing with each other more often. The legacy that Peter started as Spider-Man is in his face a little bit more. When [Peter] started being Spider-Man, he didn’t have the idea that other people would pick up the mantle. This premise, this theme, gets analyzed from different perspectives, and Miles and Peter are at the center of that."

Spider-Men II #1 hits comic book shops on July 12.

I know Bendis gets tons of hate, but he really knows how to write Teenage Spider-Man. Just read Ultimate Spider-Man if you do not believe me

@MeAreLegend - I agree. Especially at the beginning of Ultimate Spider-Man, before he'd run out of ideas, it was a joy to read the way he wrote Peter Parker

@Franshu - My favorite issues of Ultimate Spider-Man were from Issue 1-111.
Strangely enough i didnt enjoy the later issues also because of the fact that mark bagley left. But then when he came back for Death Of Ultimate Spider-Man the comic was good again.

I've been saying for years, I think 616 Miles is Mysterion, Mysterio's young black unnamed protégé.

Couldn't they just come up with a new hero instead of a 2nd Spidey? Not that he's terrible, just like creativity. It's truly like they're scared of failure.

I like Miles as a character but I sure wish he had another superhero name, kind of weird when the actual Spider-man is right there too and a prominent hero and Avenger.
