X-Men & Fantastic Four Crossover DNX Will End With Cyclops vs. Beast In A Fight To The Death

This November, the X-Men's war against 3K comes down to a dramatic showdown between Cyclops and Beast—now the 3K's Chairman—in the final chapter of DNX.

Arriving in September, DNX by Jed MacKay and Federico Vicentini unites the X-Men and the Fantastic Four for a crossover that culminates years of mutant storytelling. Marking a major turning point in MacKay's run, the event sees 3K's twisted plan to "make more mutants" finally come to fruition.

After Cyclops' trip to the future in Age of Revelation, the X-Men believe they know what's coming. But as they join forces with the Fantastic Four to stop 3K from unleashing the X-Virus, they'll discover that the future is never set in stone. According to Marvel Comics, "when the dust settles, fans can expect an exciting shakeup for MacKay and Netho Diaz's X-Men."

It's said that more details on that will be revealed in the coming weeks, including the announcement of an all-new solo series launching in its aftermath.

In DNX #4, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four must regroup and address the unexpected catastrophe, while the effects of 3K's Chairman's scheme have only begun to be felt! But the Chairman soon learns that even his plans have flaws.

Then, in X-Men #41, a DNX tie-in issue, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four are on a mission to save lives, but O*N*E has a mandate to enforce a quarantine zone and has its own mission to complete. Can both succeed?

Finally, in DNX #5, the event comes to its epic conclusion. X-Men and 3K. Scott Summers and Henry McCoy. Cyclops and the Chairman. To the death.

The "Chairman" is the Beast who broke bad during the X-Men's Krakoan Age, and it sounds like this may mark the end of his journey. The battle between the original Hank McCoy and Cyclops promises to be epic, but can Scott Summers really put down his former best friend for good?

We'll have to wait and see. For now, check out the covers for DNX's final issues below.

I cant count the times Beast has gone bad. They intentionally killed him off, grabbed a past version of him just to make him good again, then made him bad yet again.

Given these events never have a clean ending, the twist could be killing Good Beast so Evil Beast survive to turn good after seeing his good self's sacrifice. Joins Cyclop's X-team and gets close to Juggernaut who's gone through the bad guy stint himself. Unless the plan for the whole thing has been to resolve the loose end of Evil Beast and more cleanly move on from the Krakoa era.
