Marvel Just Killed A Major Character In Today's INFINITY WARS PRIME #1 - SPOILERS
Marvel kicked off a new cosmic event with Infinity Wars Prime #1 today and they did so in style with another major character death. Who exactly met their maker? You're definitely going to be surprised...
Following the success of Avengers: Infinity War earlier this year, Marvel Comics has launched a new cosmic series which looks set to have major ramifications for the Marvel Universe moving forward. Written by Gerry Duggan with art by Mike Deodato, the first issue of Infinity Wars Prime hit stores today and it featured new character Requiem deliver a killing blow to a fan-favourite Avengers villain.
As you can see below, he/she beheads the Mad Titan in what seems to be a pretty definitive ending for the character. This is the world of comic books, though, so he could be back as soon as next month.
However, something which suggests he really is dead and gone - for now, at least - is the fact he appeared in last week's issue of Thor in Hel alongside other dead characters. Marvel isn't the best when it comes to scheduling stories like this so it's entirely feasible that title will deal with the fallout from his demise. What do you guys think? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts below.
