Deadpool & Wolverine is right around the corner, and while we're tempering our expectations when it comes to cameos, it's clear the threequel will feature some big surprises.

Some of those have been revealed by set photos and others by social media's scooper contingent. Others, meanwhile, have been showcased in promo art, with the spotlight put primarily on various members of the Deadpool Corps.

It's hard to predict what role the Merc with the Mouth's Variants will play in the threequel, but we know Ryan Reynolds is set to take on more than one role im the movie. He's also likely to be joined by other famous faces.

By clicking the "Next"/"View List" buttons below, you can find out which members of the Deadpool Corps are rumoured or confirmed for Deadpool & Wolverine...

5. Kidpool

Kidpool is a young version of Deadpool himself, hence the childlike demeanour and appearance.

However, despite this young Wade Wilson's youthful appearance, he possesses the same regenerative abilities and combat skills as his adult counterpart. As you might expect, his personality tends to be more innocent and playful, often displaying even more childlike antics and humour.

There's no word on who will play Kidpool, though several scoopers have claimed it won't be Walker Scobell, the Percy Jackson and the Olympians star who previously shared the screen with Reynolds in The Adam Project.

4. Headpool

Headpool hails from the Marvel Zombies universe, an alternate reality where many of Earth's superheroes and villains have been infected with a virus, turning them into flesh-eating zombies. Deadpool was among them but managed to retain some degree of his consciousness even after being decapitated.

As his name suggests, Headpool is essentially Deadpool's severed head which continues to survive and uses a propellor to fly around. He also typically uses himself as a projectile against enemies.

In Deadpool & Wolverine, Headpool is expected to be the Wade Wilson Variant from X-Men Origins: Wolverine. That explains the wide eyes we've seen in promo art and should result in a lot of insults being sent 20th Century Fox's way...

3. Dogpool

Marvel Studios hasn't shied away from showing off Dogpool, and while we initially suspected that he might be Wade Wilson's pet pooch, chances are he (she?) too is a member of the Deadpool Corps.

In Dogpool's reality, Deadpool is transformed into a dog rather than a human. Dogpool retains Deadpool's trademark red-and-black costume and mask, and the same enhanced physical abilities and agility which make him a formidable fighter despite his canine form.

He often wields weapons and engages in combat alongside other members of the Deadpool Corps, though we'd bet on this version being more of a mascot for the Merc with the Mouth to bond with.

2. Lady Deadpool

Lady Deadpool, also known as Wanda Wilson, is simply a female version of Wade Wilson from another reality.

Similar to the original version of the character, Lady Deadpool possesses accelerated healing abilities, enhanced agility, and combat skills. She also shares Deadpool's sarcastic wit and irreverent sense of humour, typically engaging in witty banter and fourth wall breaks we've come to expect.

Of all the Variants listed here, she's perhaps the most prominent and popular. Lady Deadpool is also the only one not "confirmed" for Deadpool & Wolverine, with competing rumours suggesting Wanda will either be played by singer Taylor Swift or Reynolds' wife, Blake Lively.

1. Babypool

In case you couldn't figure it out from the name, yes, Babypool is indeed an alternate reality version of Deadpool, but as an adorable baby. Babypool retains many of Deadpool's characteristic traits, such as his classic costume, his regenerative abilities, and an irreverent sense of humour.

However, being a baby, Babypool lacks the maturity and self-awareness of his adult counterpart.

We can't imagine this Variant will bring too much to the table, though it's interesting that Marvel Studios has decided to portray Deadpool in all possible forms. Perhaps it's meant to hammer home the fact Wade Wilson is destined to become Deadpool, no matter which reality he hails from.
