Disney+ UK Reveals Full List Of Movies And TV Shows Coming To New Star Brand Next Month

There's no Hulu in the UK, but Disney+ subscribers in the country will soon have access to Star, a new part of the streaming service which will include titles like 24, Deadpool 2, Lost, and many more...

On February 23rd, Disney+ UK will launch Star, a new "general entertainment brand," which will initially include 75 TV shows, over 270 movies, and 4 exclusive Star Originals. New titles will be added each month, with content from Disney Television Studios (20th Television and ABC Signature), FX Productions, 20th Century Studios, and more.

Among the Star Originals are Marvel's Helstrom and Solar Opposites, and there are a lot of other great TV shows to look out for as well. Among them are 24, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Lost, and The X-Files. On the movie front, the Merc with the Mouth is finally coming to Disney+ via Deadpool 2.

Notable omissions include the first Deadpool movie, Logan, and the Alien and Predator films. It's possible those will be added on a month-by-month basis, but there's plenty to be getting on with in the meantime.

Star on Disney+ will be available in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland plus Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Content will, of course, vary by location.

In the UK, a price increase is coming as the service will now cost £7.99 per month instead of £5.99.

Check out a full list of what's coming to the UK below:

Blade particularly is a New Line film so it's owned by WB.

@globaltravels - HBOMax has the same thing with a few serirs, like they have all the original godzilla movies but not King Kong VS Godzilla or Godzilla’s Revenge (although not missing much with the second one)

They have night and day of the dead but not dawn of the dead

Sad to see no Malcolm in the Middle or Legio, but I reckon they'll come by the end of the year.

I'm happy to see Helstrom, Ugly Betty and The Gifted however.

I'm looking forward to this the uk is limited I think compared to the US.. like Netflix in the US has alot more on than the UK I always see advertising for certain films or shows and it says streaming on netfilx now... nice one go check then google as it's not on there and it's US only lol.. Disney + is good tho I'm currently paying £5.99 a month but would gladly pay the £7.99.. it'll be good to see some R rated or 18...predator.. aliens etc..but US has always had the better streaming services I mean I started watching GOT a few weeks back could I hell find it on line anywhere to stream so I've has to sign up to NOW TV I don't know wether that's a thing in the US but its basically a cheap version of SKY TV lol...
