After the success of many updated live action fairy tales such as Alice in Wonderland and Maleficent (and soon Cinderella), Disney has announced the newest adaptation of a classic film, Dumbo, also known as the large eared elephant, with Tim Burton set to direct.
Burton has directed another updated fairy tale, 2010's Alice in Wonderland, which grossed $1,025,467,110, making it one of the top grossing films of 2010. Burton is also known for his gothic style, directing other films such as Batman, Edward Scissorhands, and Beetlejuice.
The film, with no set release date, was penned by Ehren Kruger, and is also produced by Kruger and Justin Springer, who together produced 2013's Oblivion. So what do you guys think, are you excited for the live action Dumbo film? Share your thoughts bellow!
