“No rules. No schools. No bedtimes. And most of all, no growing up.”

Disney's latest live-action remake, Peter Pan and Wendy, is set to premiere on the Disney+ streaming service towards the end of the month, and we now have an official trailer featuring plenty of new footage.

This teaser suggests that we'll be getting a pretty faithful take on the original story (minus the usual Disney flourishes, of course), as the boy who never grew up and Tinkerbell the fairy pay a visit to the Darling household and whisk Wendy and her brother away to the magical world of Neverland.

There, they fall into the clutches of Captain Hook, a wicked pirate with a grudge against Peter and his friends, The Lost Boys. Fortunately, Hook has a very large, and very toothy nemesis of his own, and the clock is tocking!

Check out the new trailer below.

Peter Pan & Wendy introduces Wendy Darling, a young girl afraid to leave her childhood home behind, who meets Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up. Alongside her brothers and a tiny fairy, Tinker Bell, she travels with Peter to the magical world of Neverland. There, she encounters an evil pirate captain, Captain Hook, and embarks on a thrilling and dangerous adventure that will change her life forever.

The film stars Jude Law (Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore), Alexander Molony (The Reluctant Landlord), Ever Anderson (Resident Evil: The Final Chapter), Yara Shahidi (Grown-ish), Alyssa Wapanatâhk, Joshua Pickering (A Discovery of Witches), Jacobi Jupe, Molly Parker (House of Cards), Alan Tudyk (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), and Jim Gaffigan (The Jim Gaffigan Show).

Peter Pan and Wendy is directed by David Lowery from a screenplay by David Lowery & Toby Halbrooks (The Green Knight) based on the novel by J. M. Barrie and the animated film Peter Pan.

The movie is set to premiere on Disney+ on April 28.

@TheWalkingCuban - was thinking BBC’s Merlin and Robin Hood shows.

Doesnt look like Pan has had any recent tv adaption but the brand was popular enough that Tinler bell had a series of direct to video movies for a few years

How about that? Captain Hook is one of the few White male characters in the movie....and he is the villain.

Big shocker there.

@TyrantBossMedia - the crocodile isn’t a white male.

@WhatIfRickJames - when has the crocodile been a villain? His main goal in all interpretations has been to eat hook.

@TyrantBossMedia - pains me to say it but i agree with you for once.

It's wrong how they are going about the so called "inclusion"

Tasteless. Far better way to this than simply plugging in all the white male roles.

And of course they have to keep the narrative all white men are bad so, Hook...
